FOLLOW-UP TIMING AND FREQUENCY
THE DEFAULT SEQUENCE
When the AI SDR is enabled, every new qualified lead receives:
- •Email #1: Within 5 minutes of the conversation ending
- •SMS #1: 24 hours later, if no reply to the email
- •Email #2: 72 hours after the original conversation, if still no reply
WHAT COUNTS AS A REPLY
Any reply to the email or SMS. The sequence stops immediately when a prospect responds.
SENDING HOURS
The AI SDR sends follow-ups at any hour of the day, including weekends. The 5-minute first email is intentional — speed matters more than timing for the initial response. Later follow-ups in the sequence respect standard business hours (8am–8pm in your time zone).
GOOD TO KNOW
If a prospect responds to an AI SDR message, their lead status is automatically updated to Contacted and you will receive a notification.
Can I customize the follow-up timing or number of messages?
Custom sequences are available on request for accounts with 50+ leads per month. Contact support to discuss.
What happens if the prospect unsubscribes from SMS?
They are immediately removed from all future SMS follow-ups. Email follow-ups continue unless they also unsubscribe from email.
